Always proper and collected, Audr was the youngest son and the one chosen to succeed his father as jarl. He would go on to govern his father's legacy with fairness and an open mind. Audr became known as a hospitable host and a good neighbor to the towns dotted around Helgasund. He married a poor farmer's daughter. They would go on to have a myriad of children and despite their very different backgrounds, Audr was happy in his marriage.

Kenna Hjorrsdottír

The ultimate youngest sibling and only girl, Kenna always felt smothered by her parents. Unhappy with her life in a small town, Kenna always wanted something more for herself. With a clever mind, she quickly endeared herself to a merchant son from Constantinople, whom she would go on to marry.

Alva Gunnarsdottír

The twins were born in 1063 sometime during late spring, in Helgasund, England. Their father, Gunnar, was the king of Denmark and while their mother, Hildr, by extension was queen of Denmark, she lived her life in England and never participated in court life. The twins went to Denmark every second year, along with their mother, in order to be able to spent time with their father. There they became acquainted with their two older half-brothers, Hjálmar and Thorir. In Denmark they would receive education befitting of their nobility.

Growing up, the twins struggled with finding sense in Christianity. Their mother, the Seer of Helgasund, was a clear practitioner of the pagan arts and they felt more kinship towards the duality between nature and man. Outwardly, they do present themselves as Christians, knowing it is a fickle line they must walk.

Ragnar would settle and become a calm man despite his bloodied youth as a Jomsviking. He was very much his father's son, as he became patient and tolerant towards those around him. He would later become a dutiful husband and a loving father.

Alva, unlike her brother, would tear herself to shreds if it meant gaining an ounce of individuality. Bitter and vindictive, she became a kin-killer. Like her mother, Alva was plagued by the voices of both the Gods and the dead, driving her to a self-imposed solitude far from home.
